Most condos limit the boundaries of the unit exclusively owned, to half way through the drywall inwards, meaning that the back side of the drywall which contains all the plumbing would be owned by all and the condo would fix any repairs there. Anything between the inside walls, including the air space is owned by the unit owner. What defines common property, is everything else on the land (including the land) and the buildings that are not exclusively owned by any one person such as sheds, parking areas and recreational facilities.
